Millennial Challenges is focused on providing high-quality Career Coaching for High School and College students (as well as post graduates). In addition, I offer Study Skills tutoring for students who are interested in increasing their ability to study and do well in school.
A coaching relationship can take many forms (personal visits, email correspondence, telephone calls), but the key to successful coaching is regular communication over a period of time. During this time, I will assist my student in the following:
Planning - Assist in creating roadmaps to find the most direct route to their career choices.
Insight - Find a deeper understanding of who they are and what type of career would bring them purpose and meaning.
Listening – Be a sounding board to talk out ideas and brainstorm.
Prioritizing skills - Utilize strategies to gain balance at school and at home.
Editing – Give ideas for creating & editing their resumes, and other correspondence, so they can convey their skills successfully.
Interviewing – Help prepare and role-play with them, so they can showcase their skills effectively.
Networking - Tips on how to become comfortable with networking and leveraging existing relationships.
Private Tutoring Sessions in Study Skills also available
For High School & College students that are disorganized, mismanage their time, do not know how to study, have missing and late assignments, and are not working to their potential, I will provide them with tools for being more successful in school. Strategies in the program cover the following:
